The CREST Awards scheme is an education scheme run by the British Science Association for young people, providing science enrichment activities to inspire and engage 5-to-19-year olds.

When we talk about science we mean it in the broadest sense possible, inclusive of natural and social sciences, engineering, maths and technology.

CREST gives pupils the chance to participate in hands-on science through investigations and enquiry-based learning, supporting them to solve real-life STEM challenges through practical investigation and discussion. It can be run in schools, after school clubs, other organisations or at home. CREST Awards challenges pupils to work creatively with freedom and independence throughout, they will have fun developing their problem solving and communication skills and links well to the national curriculum.

Could your company support a school by sponsoring CREST Awards?

We encourage STEM Ambassador to offer activities that can easily link to CREST criteria, to give an extra sense of achievement to pupils.
